Amari and Cherelle Yarbrough are a brother-sister writing duo hailing from Baltimore, MD. Amari, a former competitive figure skater with a degree in English Writing/Fiction, made past waves in the media, featuring on BBC America, ABC, and Fox News. As the owner of Throwback Publishing, Inc., he brings a wealth of storytelling experience to their collaborative projects.

Cherelle, an IT professional, devoted mother, and literacy advocate is passionate about metaphysics and Ancient mythology. Inspired by Cherelle's three young daughters, they created "The Elle Rays," a groundbreaking sci-fi graphic novel designed for early readers. This innovative work aims to provide visual representation and an alternative narrative for young girls of color, empowering them to embrace their inner strength, wisdom, and beauty.
