Sam A. King

Sam A. King grew up in Tring, Hertfordshire, where he spent the best part of his childhood being very 'arty'. He was always found drawing, occasionally seen making Lego stop motion videos, and was, for a brief period, a member of a weekly pottery class. By his A-levels he settled on doing a Film and TV Production degree, which he very much enjoyed. However, since falling into the trap of becoming an adult and getting a 'real job' these creative pursuits had fallen by the wayside. That is, until he decided to quit his job just before the start of the pandemic and suddenly found himself with a rather large amount of time on his hands.

Sammy The Squirrel is Sam's first children's book, and yes, it is pretty self-centred to use your own name for the main character, but he did it anyway.
