Lynn Dixon is a versatile pianist, composer, arranger, and producer. As a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), he studied music composition and music engineering. Over the years, Lynn has enjoyed composing music that incorporates symphonic, classical, jazz, and other music styles. As a pianist, he enjoys collaborating and performing the works of classical composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy. His works were performed at the District New Music Coalition (2020 & 2021), and by the UMBC faculty professors, the Strata Trio, and the Bergamot Quartet of Washington, D.C. He teaches piano and ear training with the goal of music appreciation; he enjoys experiencing the music of other cultures in his travels to Japan and South Korea. Lynn’s music evokes melodies and harmonies that can take you on an adventure, and his passion for creative expression is evident in the array of musical elements found in his work!
