Grace Kwak is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at UCLA. Growing up in Silicon Valley, she subconsciously equated meaning and purpose with efficiency and productivity. But part of her wondered if there could be another way to see the world: one that recognizes, and even embraces, what does not fit within the constraints of technological, economic, and social systems. She turned to writing as a means to lean into the inexplicable, chaotic, and emotional parts of herself.
