Michael Shane Dabney

Born and raised in the Midwest (Danville IL), to two loving parents (RIP both). I have two siblings, one brother, one sister. I have a daughter whom I love very much and one son (RIP 8/15/2010). I've traveled many places and had numerous experiences which has allowed me to share through my writing. I grew up writing poetry, small stories and was told that I could write. While in school, professors would all say that I had a gift of writing. I would share stories of my experiences and would get asked often "have you ever thought about writing a book"? I would shrug it off until I decided to sit down and take a chance. Although it's been a long journey, it's now here and complete. Through God's grace I was able to complete my first body of work and share with the world.
