Chris is a veteran traveler, a nomad with a house and a dog, and a proud uncle. He's been a lifeguard, a waiter, an Air Force electrician, a teacher, a writer, a casino slot machine repair man, a catamaran builder, and a self-publisher. He got his "not-that-kind-of-doctor" Doctorate in Management in 2018, and remains one of the world's few Texans who prefers to live in the Pacific Northwest with Mick (his 97 lb. German Shepherd). These days Chris works for Boeing as an F-15 Electrical systems consultant. In his off time he loves to consume books, watch science-fiction movies, take on home improvement projects, snowboard in the Cascade mountains, and continues to travel the world. Wide-eyed travelers, coffee drinkers, book-lovers, dog whisperers, aviation enthusiasts, linguists, political philosophers, healthy hedonists, self-helpers, hikertrash, unapologetic learners, and fans of good humor make up his worldwide family. Chris has self-published three books so far, and keeps writing more despite his inferiority complex. You can find A Door Into Another Land, Power Over Everything, and No Strings Attached at multiple places and platforms including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BookBub. His academic publication EXPLORING HOW TRAINERS CAN USE HUMOR TO INCREASE SELF-EFFICACY OF EMPLOYEES can be found in The Journal of Organizational Psychology.
