Allison Gorner

Allison Gorner is an author based out of Alberta, Canada and has been creating stories since she learned to write as a child. Her passion for storytelling can be seen in her children's stories, short stories, screenplays, stage plays and articles.

Allison graduated with honours from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) where she majored as a Writer/Producer/Director in the Cinema, Television, Stage & Radio program. She also completed the Writing for Children program at Winghill Writing School with the Award of Merit for excellent technical skill and high creative endeavour.

She gives back to the writing community as a member of the Alberta Romance Writers’ Association (ARWA) Board of Directors, teaching ARWA writing workshops, and as a member of the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF).
