Debbie Schrick

I am so excited to share my adventures with you. I started writing my stories in 2010 after my mom passed away.  I was very close to her and all of my memories of her were of how she loved people and was always taking care of others whether it was in her profession as a nurse or as a mom or as a special friend.  Mom's cousins called her Tootsie and she called me Dobbie. 

I have had the privilege of teaching elementary school children for many years and most of the topics that I write about come out of my experience with children and what they need to hear. The Tattletale is my first book to get published, but I actually have 21 adventures written at this time. In this series, each story seeks to teach something of history, science, behavior, or our relationships with others. There is a featured animal at the end of each story as well.  So, sit down with someone you love and get to know Tootsie Turtle, Dobbie Doo and all their friends!
