W. Lee Baker writes about those qualities that open the way for life to be more deeply rewarding; that provide real well being, deep happiness and a sense of harmony. My Feet Don’t Touch the Ground is inspired by his life path and the challenges, discoveries and wisdom found along the way.
A life long creative with a career in professional photography, he has now found the gateway to write and share this novel. After college, further education came courtesy of the US Army with duty stations in Florida, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Family and career followed, bringing family crises he was not be prepared for. This led to opportunities to learn and become a more mature, well rounded adult, providing joy and rewards of character never previously imagined.
His first novel is the adventure of what life can bring alive for each of us, so we may see the beautiful delicacy of this world. He has a love of wonder, inspired by his spiritual quest. He has climbed in the Himalayas, scuba-dived at Cocos Island, Costa Rica, and enjoyed afternoons in the cafes of Paris and Prague.
He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Rebecca. They have four grown children and four grandchildren, some close and others in the midwest. He is open to interviews to share more of the toil and rewards of writing from the heart.
