Emily Thayer Guziak

Emily Thayer Guziak is a native Midwesterner who enjoys learning everyone’s life story. Writing her first story at four years old, after watching the 1960 Kennedy-Nixon debate with her parents, Emily has been a journalist since 1978. She and her husband have raised three children. Now retired, Emily is passionate about writing, hiking and biking with family and friends, and creating community (especially when it involves her neighbor’s desserts!) This is her first book.
