I've always been the quiet girl carrying an entire world behind her eyes. I didn't find my voice so much as I found a pen, and slowly, that world has been making its way onto paper ever since.

I grew up in a small town about 30 miles north of Boston, with four proper seasons and a library card I wore out early. These days, I call Ottawa, Ontario home, and it's no accident that my characters wander the same streets I do most weekends. I write the places I know, and the people who feel like home in them.
