Donna Marie Barr

Donna Marie Barr could only dream of living on a South Pacific island as a Nebraska farm girl. At fifty-seven, after raising three sons and a successful career, she joined the Peace Corps and was assigned to the South Pacific islands of Samoa. This memoir of that life-changing adventure is her first published book.

Donna lives on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi where she grows prize-winning orchids and hosts travelers from all over the world in her guest cottage.
