William Pila Chiles

Of my published works I call this one “the little book that could”, and the true mystery. My publisher, HCI “Chicken Soup for the Soul” has never let me polish it because of the magic (several decades at 5 star rating in several countries, all by word-of-mouth). It’s never been promoted. Hopefully you’ll get its message in your search. Mine came with this first book, after washing up on the rocky beach from the horrors of combat. I’m not Hawaiian, I do have a formal Hawaiian name given me, but “Pila” means Bill (and always something a little more, in the ‘abstract language’). I hope you enjoy and share. It is meant to complement and share the beauty of the islands and their true culture, not usurp …like the 3 tech money-mongers who now own them. As for the rest of my pen name, I’ve explained it herein. “Wherever you live, learn to be not ‘of the world’, but ‘of Hawai’i’.
