Michael K. Eidman

Michael K. Eidman is a trial lawyer, practicing in New York (since 1980) and New Jersey (since 2001) and concentrating on the litigation of personal injury and medical negligence cases on behalf of injured people. In addition, for a 20 year period, he, along with his wife Daphne, promoted concerts in his hometown of Englewood, NJ and presented many prominent artists including Lyle Lovett, Richard Thompson and Lucinda Williams.

Michael has been married to Daphne for 36 years and has three grown sons and two grandchildren. Michael also retains strong ties with his extended family and these relationships inform much of his writing. In addition, he has spent a great deal of time in the Catskill Mountains which he considers his second home, fishing, hiking and exploring and his experiences there are woven through much of what of what he writes. He published his first book, "A Roomful of Elephants & Other Essays" at age 62 and the 30 non-fictional essays reflect his lifetime's worth of experiences and perspectives in all of his endeavors. His next book, "Sketches of Sy & Other True Tales" was written during the pandemic and gives his insider's view on litigating high-stakes injury cases, on trying to make it in the perilous concert promotion business and on the demise of his father.
