Rose Cushing

Rose is the publisher of Southeast Hoofbeats magazine.

“The magazines for

serious equestrian” She currently hosts two equestrian podcasts Today’s

Horsewoman and Today’s Horsemen enjoyed worldwide! She is an author, an award-winning documentary film maker, a television producer and owner of Cushing Media.

As a certified herbalist Rose makes and curates a collection of chemical free

bath and beauty products Half Moon Farms. Coming this spring will highlights

begin a series of Back-to-Basics Expos featuring homesteading practices and

self-sufficiency.

Rose owns Cushing Publishing, a small traditional publishing company and have

approximately 50 authors that we are working with.

She has served on the NC Horse Council Board, Executive Committee, and SC

Horse Council and was nominated in 2022 and 2024 for NC Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame
