Dr. Mina J Blazy

Mina J. Blazy, Ed.D., is a Director in a Southern California school district. She began her teaching career in the western suburbs of Chicago as a middle school science teacher and later taught in Ohio and California. Her leadership journey includes serving as assistant principal at a comprehensive high school and helping open a 7–12 STEM high school before becoming principal of a STEM elementary school.

Dr. Blazy holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and biological sciences from Northern Illinois University and both a master’s and doctorate in educational administration from California State University, San Bernardino.

She is the co-author of Noise to Navigation with her twin sister, Carrie Jo Little. Dr. Blazy works with educators and education leaders to help teachers and principals improve student learning and take ownership of their growth. She has presented at the United Principal’s Conference, the National Association of Realtors, and other locations across the United States.

Outside her role, she researches Generative AI and STEM education and is passionate about building connections and fostering collaborative leadership that improves outcomes for all learners.
