About the Author

David is a youthful 78 year old.

After retiring from his work in the family court, he helped found a fostering agency for children, started a multi academy trust with three schools, and took up writing. He is married to Jill with three children and five grandchildren.

David writes:-

‘My previous book, Leizar is a historical novel which, although fictional, was based on real people and real events. ‘Different’ presented a new challenge creating as it does, the black Jewish martial arts hero Darius Stein.

'Different' took about a year to write during which I worked closely with my good friend Courtney Clarke, who assisted from the perspective of a person of colour as well as being a graduate of Kateda.

I find the writing process requires self-discipline, blocking out time each day. It’s easy to become distracted. For me the mornings are my most productive, but alas, the “time bandits” steal many hours by email and phone calls.

I'd be glad to hear from readers of my books. You may like to follow or 'like' on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.'

David draws inspiration from his own experiences of life and the complexities of human nature. His passion for storytelling shines through in "Different," a testament to his dedication and commitment to the craft. David invites readers to embark on a captivating journey through the pages of his novels, where adversity is confronted, a hero is forged, and the power of resilience prevails.
