Courtney Tate

Courtney Tate, Ph.D., is an author, researcher, and certified coach whose work is rooted in one conviction: everyone deserves to see themselves, know their worth, and move forward with purpose.

Her Campbell children's book series, including Goodnight Campbell, Dancing with Dad, and Tasty Cakes, brings Black family life to the center of the page, giving young readers stories full of joy, love, and the warmth of everyday moments with the people who matter most.

For women navigating faith, identity, and transformation, Courtney writes devotionals and reflective resources, including Becoming Her, that create space to pause, realign, and grow into who God designed them to be.

Her research-based work, including Unseen Yet Essential, speaks directly to Black women instructional coaches and educational leaders whose contributions shape schools every day, often without the recognition they deserve.

Courtney holds a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning from Clemson University, is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, and is the founder of AlignEd Coaching and Consulting, where she works with educators, women leaders, and executives ready to align their lives with their vision.

She enjoys journaling, traveling, and time with the people she loves.
