Whitney And John Matson

Whitney is a teacher by trade, mother of three by day, and a believer in and creator of magic, fun, and all things children’s literature by night. A graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a small town girl, she hopes to teach her own children and children everywhere that the key to success is to bet on yourself every time.

John is an attorney by trade, and story-teller to his children by night. John is a Lincoln, Nebraska native. He completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and received his J.D. from Creighton Law School in Omaha, Nebraska. He has lived in Russia, Kazakhstan, and has visited many other places around the world. He is never short on inspiration or imagination. Peanut and Hector have always been a part of his childhood and because of his great love for these characters, and his father who originally dreamt them up, he hopes to bring more of their stories to life for children everywhere.
