Mauro Lacovich

Mauro Lacovich is a Croatian-born author, psychologist and psychotherapist living in Ireland. His books for adults and children explore the shadowed borderlands between pain and transformation, between what is endured and what becomes possible.

Drawing on mythology, memory and his professional experience, Mauro writes stories that invite readers to discover their own meanings and interpretations. His particular interest lies in therapeutic storytelling for children, exploring how imagination and personal experience shape our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
