Lolakwentosera is your storytelling grandma who writes stories to cure her insomnia. An academician in the morning who goes by the name Amelia De Chavez Pagdanganan, Lowluh, as Gen. Zs often refer to her, is an insomniac writer and a twisted author by night.
With the help of her dedicated team, she also writes and conducts Teen Empowerment Workshops teaching the digital natives how to deal with their mental health issues, p*rn addiction, and teenage angsts.
Being a member of Pinoy Writer’s Toastmasters Club and MySTIque COOLture Toastmasters club not just trained her as a public speaker, who motivates her audience to become who God designed them to be, but also inspired her to write interesting stories as a tool for reaching out the hearts and minds of the new generation.
With her values and principles rooted in our conservative past infused with her knowledge of how the digital world works, she can write stories that touch parenting issues and apply faith in our daily lives to build a better future for the Filipino youth.
In 2016, Lowluh competed in Washington DC as the country's representative in an International Speech Competition from which she was the District 75 Toastmasters Club's National Champion. Her piece, "JAILHOUSE ROCKS!" was about her life while living in jail for six years with her criminal mother and little sister and how she was able to hurdle all the obstacles blocking her way to live a more meaningful and purposeful life.
Though she had earned units in her doctoral studies of Information Management Technology, she went back to school to also study Clinical Psychology. With this, she authored a non-fiction book, “Sino Ang Dakila? Sino ang Tunay na Baliw?, and several fiction books locally and internationally published.
In 2020, ABS-CBN Publishing held a writing competition called Project Foreword, and out of 400 entries, Lolakwentosera's story was shortlisted and she became one of the top 5 finalists of this competition under the mentorship of coach Makiwander. (Competition is on hold due to franchise problem)
Through this competition, Lowluh was able to publish two of her dark fantasy e-novels (Bloodlines series) in Dreame/Starry Publishing from which she is continuously earning $$$. A local publisher also signed and published her romantic comedy novel, Two Less Lonely People In The World, inspired by her favorite love team, LEAGA's possible 3rd movie (praying hard for this!). Furthermore, an international publisher took interest and published her young adult romance (Christian) novel, Princess Tala and Prince Uncharming, written in both Filipino and English languages and available here in Amazon.
