Rohan Houssein

Inspired by travels, oriental poets and Hip-Hop culture, Rohan Houssein shares an artistic vision through a “geopoetic” rap open to the world. After studying medicine in Marseille, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to his art, following a report at the heart of the Libyan conflict in 2011. In 2018, he published his first collection Divinâmour, and produced his recording albums « Universal Love » & « Esthète ». Exile, memories of a fatherly Syria in peace, or the place of the artist in the world are favorite themes. Trips in Senegal or Madagascar have deeply inspired his work. Rohan is also the creator of the clothing brand Deysham, painter, and produces many audiovisual productions such as music videos and « The World is Yours » poetic capsules, in a consistency responding to the mantra « Art & Life are One. »
