Gaynor Greber

I am a British Clinical Nutritionist and author/publisher, married to a Swiss, living in the Bernese Oberland Alps.

My illustrated, children's chapter book series 'Alpine Tales' for 8-10 year-olds, were published together with a bumper Trilogy version. These are a captivating collection of magical stories with quirky characters in stunning settings. Woven around local myths, legends, and traditions and containing a sprinkling of facts they can thrill and educate at the same time.

The English illustrator Fleur A Boyle has beautifully portrayed my stories and enhanced the books with exquisite artwork.

I give presentations about the books in local schools for English classes.

All the Alpine Tales books have been translated into French and German.

I also write health books for adults. After over twenty-five years in clinical practice in the UK, I have a wealth of experience, specializing in intestinal health.

'Chronic Digestive Disorders' - a self-help guide that supports sufferers through the process of reversing gut disorders, healing the gut, and finally, regaining health. It contains drug-free natural treatment plans and lists of appropriate laboratory diagnostic tests.

Successful case histories from personal practice, diet and supplement recommendations, and food tips for each given condition.

'On Guard' - a book on how to boost immunity by natural means. Packed full of information on anti-microbial botanical options to drugs, powerful immune-boosting foods, and general tips for keeping your immune system working well.

'Treating the Root Cause of Disease' -

A valuable reference book for people who may not be aware of the options available other than the drug management of symptoms.

A children's humorous nutrition book, 'Watch Out Barnaby's About'. Hopefully this will relieve some parents of the onerous task of guiding their precious offspring into healthy eating.

To balance the mental output, I swim and kayak on the lakes, and hike daily in the Alps. Inspiration is around every corner.
