Rene Nestor Lafaut

I was born in Springs, South Africa, but immigrated to Canada at age 11. I completed two university degrees before I got schizophrenia in 1992. The illness became for me a Dark Night of the Soul (as written by and described by Saint John of the Cross). All my books flow out of searching for and learning to love in the midst of the chaos caused by my schizophrenia… with the Holy Spirit being my teacher.
