Scott has spent nearly twenty years helping artists find their own voices. He currently teaches at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, but his passion for education goes well beyond the classroom. He has spent years designing global curricula and video workshops, always with the goal of making complex techniques accessible to everyone. You may also recognize his work from Artists Network and Artists Magazine, where he is a frequent contributor.
His own journey began with a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), followed by an MFA from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks—a landscape that certainly taught him a thing or two about the elements.
