Elaine Collier

Elaine started writing at 67, at the start of the covid pandemic and lock-down. Her first two books are non-fiction, the first her journey with breast cancer and the second her spiritual journey. Discovering a passion, she turned to writing fiction and The Innocents Abroad Crime Series began.

Donna and Fiona are the two main characters in the series. Every year they holiday together, their purpose being to cram in as much fun as possible. Unfortunately, they can't seem to help themselves but to get caught up in some sort of crime. The stories are very down to earth and written with humour.

Elaine lives in Oxfordshire and when she isn't writing enjoys being in nature, crocheting and reading.

She says: 'I am extremely happy and content with my life. It's been a journey of ups and downs and who knows what will come next, but it's up to me to make it exciting and fun'.
