I come from the world of films and television where I have donned many hats - Writer, Producer, Director and a Studio Executive.

I am the writer and creative director of the series - Raja, Rasoi Aur Anya Kahaniyaan.

Hailing from Old Delhi, I studied English literature at University of Delhi. My writings explore themes of loss of cultural identity, internal conflicts, post-colonial heritage in the twenty-first century, brown voices in a global community and man’s reckless abuse of nature.

Sita’s Kitchen is my first book.

I believe in the power of stories to entertain or inspire people.
