Andrew Boardman

Andrew Boardman is a UK historian with an established readership in non-fiction. His published work includes Towton 1461: The Anatomy of a Battle, The Medieval Soldier in the Wars of the Roses, Blood Red Roses, Hotspur: Henry Percy Medieval Rebel, and St Albans 1455: The Anatomy of a Battle. He lectures on historical subjects and has been a consultant on many TV documentary series including Secrets of the Dead (Channel 4 & Sky One), Towton 1461 (BBC Yorkshire), and Instruments of Death (Yesterday Channel).

The Last of the Light Brigade and The Two Horns of the Moon are Andrew's latest historical fiction novels and he is a member of The Battlefields Trust and The Richard III Society.
