Master educator & leading expert on the impacts of trauma on adult learning; extensive background in adult education including alternative high schools, prisons, free college campuses, private and non-profit organizations, gov’t institutions, and community agencies; field researcher at the intersection of education, corrections, criminal legal reform, and abolition.

My focus is countering the impacts of trauma on learning and reintroducing joy into adult learning spaces. I hold a Master’s of Science in Teaching (Portland State University), a B.A. in Communications (UNC - Charlotte).
