David Lee

David Hejune Lee is a Korean-American artist who grew up thinking he was a dinosaur. He’d eat dumplings like a Spinosaurus and roar like a Tyrannosaurus Rex while playing with his siblings. Nowadays though, he’s better behaved and he wants to share his wondrous and creative vision with the world. Just like how he taught his younger brother the importance of curiosity and imagination, he wants to educate a new generation through his storytelling.

As an autistic person, he also hopes to encourage other writers with special needs by increasing the representation of disabled artists. He currently lives with his dog, Doggie, in Fullerton, California, while publishing with the support of his family.
