Lorrie C. Reed

Lorrie C. Reed, M. Div., Ph.D., has worn many hats, including those of an ordained minister, chaplain, educator, systemic change specialist, author, and researcher. Her professional experiences include serving as a secondary school teacher, public school administrator, university professor, and consultant. She is the former Associate Pastor for Christian Education at an Illinois United Church of Christ congregation and former hospital registry chaplain. Dr. Reed lives in Chicago with her husband of over fifty years. Her current writings promote justice at the intersection of race, class, and gender.
