Long before he was a writer, Brad loved stories in almost every genre and style, including non-fiction. In fact, it was his love of story that drew him to his career in journalism. During his newspaper days, through his work in different markets and provinces, and under the influence and instruction of many colourful newsroom veterans, he would eventually become an award-winning journalist.
It was his love of God that called him into the ministry. Shifting from the news of the day to the Good News of Jesus Christ, he completed his ministry education at McMaster Divinity College in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and was quickly called to serve the church.
Brad considers himself fortunate to be able to balance his love of the church with his affection for newspapers and writing, with a faith-based/current affairs column published in different newspapers over the last 15 years. A Likely Story is his first book, and it's focused on reacquainting both regular church attendees and non-church participating people with the beauty, truth and applicability of the Bible's story.
Brad lives in Peterborough, Ont., with his wife, two children and Golden Retriever.
