Ilene now mentors start-ups and "sandwiched" managers. She’s worked with over 60 organizations and over 300 people and she intuitively understands systems, culture, and mission and can tie that to human purpose, satisfaction, and productivity. She earned both a Master's of Social Work (MSW) and a Master's of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University.
Ilene's goal is to help you deal with the daily stress and workplace annoyances that steal your productivity and keep you from reaching your goals and dreams. If you manage up and manage down and are annoyed all the way around – you’re in the right place.
Ilene also writes literary essays and short stories about human connection. Her first published submission, "That Psychotic Polar Bear," is on www.sadgirlsclublit.com. A native New Yorker, Ilene has perfected her pastrami recipe. She lives in Western MA with her 78 Chevy Cheyenne and huge golden doodle. She never tires of seeing the cows in the road. As a writer, her goal is to change the way you think about something so that you smile just a bit more.
