In the late nineties, the author heard a minister expound on the seven trumpets mentioned in the book of Revelation. Not sure about what she heard, she decided to study the Seven Trumpets, searching Scripture with Scripture. With the help of Strong's Concordance, Encyclopedia Britannica, different translations of the Bible, including the Arabic translation, an English/Arabic dictionary, a few history books, and prayer for guidance, Mae Abdul-Karim Wertz began her study. In 2001, the Author was finishing a nine-unit chaplaincy program at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. When one morning there was a big commotion at the hospital as everyone was drawn to the TV stations in patients' rooms, waiting rooms, and clinics. Unbelieving what they were watching, doctors, nurses, patients, and staff saw airplanes attacking the towers in New York. Are we going to war? Everyone asked. Mae remembered reading about a war by four angels/leaders along the Euphrates River. She found a Bible in the Chaplain's office and read Rev. 9 to one of the chaplains. Nothing was said since everyone was in shock. We did go to war and the war was conducted as it was described in the Sixth Trumpet, even though the attack on the towers is described in the First Trumpet. Studying the Seven Trumpets first helped the author understand the book of Revelation. Then, Mae studied the book of Daniel. What a surprise, Mae wowed herself through like doors of understandings opened up in her brain chambers. She wishes everyone who reads her book the joy of knowing that the word of God is in harmony and pleasing to the soul. In addition, you will receive an idea of what is going to happen between now and the Second Coming.
