Born and raised in Birmingham England, Janet immigrated to the USA in the late 1980’s. She completed a degree in Nursery Nursing in the UK and later received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education & Psychology from Nyack College in New York. She went on to receive her master’s degree with distinction in School Administration and Supervision and is a licensed school principal.

Janet’s career extends over thirty years, from Preschool and Elementary Teacher, Adjunct Professor of Dramatic Arts and Theatre at Nyack College to Parent Educator for Cornell University, and a Preschool Director. She is a licensed Minister and served as a regional Christian Education and Sunday School Director for the northeast region. Her love of family caused her to seek a second master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (Cum sum Laude) from Mercy College in New York.

While at Nyack she penned her first dramatic full gospel production entitled C.H.O.I.C.E.S. She wrote the original songs for the musical which was first performed in New York to rave reviews. C.H.O.I.C.E.S has since travelled to Birmingham England, and Chicago, before making a triumphant return to NYC.

In 2009, Janet married Randolph Pratt. She now resides in Lemont, Illinois with her loving husband, their son Carrington and stepchildren Randy III, Natalya, and Tamera.

They currently serve as the senior pastoral team at Harvest Time Worship Center, Burbank, Illinois.
