Roger Hart spent thirty years with Greater Manchester Police.
His work encompassed armed VIP security, counter-terrorist detention protocols, high-risk prisoner movements and intelligence liaison. He worked closely with the Home Office on a range of national policies.
After retiring as a Chief Inspector in 2011, he worked as a commercial investigator.
He now spends his time moaning about the weather and writing crime thrillers. He also writes blockbuster screenplays - and waits patiently for the first block to be busted.
Roger lives with his wife near Manchester, England.
