John McCall

John W. McCall is just a southern boy from Charlotte, North Carolina, who entered the United States Air Force at age19 and retired from it in 1986. He always wanted to live by the sea and made a promise to Marla, his wife of 26 years, and himself that he would be there by the time he was 70. Being a Carolina brat, he always figured that would put him somewhere around Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. John and Marla moved to within walking distance of the beach… in southern Oregon, having moved there one month before his 70th birthday. The McCalls now live in Washington near the beautiful Hood Canal.

John is the author of the inspirational A Fairway to Walk found in bookstores everywhere.
