Tiffany D Barnes

Tiffany Barnes, J.D., is a passionate children's book author dedicated to creating stories that inspire, empower, and celebrate representation. As a mother of three, a son who is a toddler and two daughters who are dancers, she understands the importance of young readers seeing themselves reflected in the books they read.

Her debut book, *I Am a...: Dancer*, follows the journey of a young girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina but struggles to see herself in the world of dance. The book is the first in a series designed to highlight underrepresented professions and encourage children to confidently pursue their dreams.

Beyond writing, Tiffany, a law school graduate, turned advocate for young dancers, using her platform to share her eldest daughter's journey balancing a competitive dance career with her lupus diagnosis. She also documents her family's adventures on social media through *BarnesTogether*, a growing brand that blends creativity, storytelling, and entrepreneurship.

When she's not writing, Tiffany is actively involved with the Girl Scouts, supports young dancers through community initiatives, and is always working on her next book.
