My first book was ”Frankford Heroes” which which documented the lives of soldiers who lived in my neighborhood in Philadelphia who died in service.

"Frankford Stories" is a collection of stories about growing up in Philadelphia. I published the Frankford Gazette in Philadelphia for 13 years and accumulated these stories over those years.

“A Killer Without Mercy” is the story of the Spanish Flu pandemic on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

"The Heroes of Frankford High School" is a tribute to the 200+ former students of Frankford High School in Philadelphia who have died in service to their county.

A present, I'm researching the soldiers who served in the Civil War who were from Accomack and Northampton Counties in Virginia. Because of the geography, many men served on both sides and a significant number of Black men, both free and enslaved, served.

I am an Air Force veteran, 1965 to 1971. I was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia for 34 years and retired in 2004.

My wife, Pat, and I moved to Chincoteague, Virginia in 2019 after growing up and living in Philadelphia for all of our lives.
