Tiya Chatterji

Tiya Chatterji is a Delhi-based Marine Archaeologist and Author. She has authored the first comprehensive book on Underwater Archaeology in India titled, ‘Underwater Archaeology in India; The Lost Enigma’. Her passion for writing is not restricted to academic writing as she also delves into poetry. Her creative mind forces her to try new ways to pursue the dissemination of knowledge, now her forte. She is also a filmmaker and made the only known documentary on the first woman freedom fighter of India, ‘Rani Abbakka’.

She is a creative writer and content developer, and the founder and CEO of Archaic Minds, providing creative services. She has a keen inclination for defense studies and represents Anuvyom Alliance, a defense start-up as Director of Business Development. Let’s admit earning bread, butter, and wine is tough! She aims to raise maritime awareness in India in a fun way and share her experiences of her travels along the Konkan and Karnataka coasts via her debut fiction book.

When not juggling with her versatile roles, she can be found with her stray kids (dogs), scuba diving, or simply admiring nature!
