Lisa R. Cheng is the author of When Hushed Voices Die. As an avid classical pianist, she puts her love for piano music into words in this debut novel. It portrays an aspiring young pianist’s personal struggles in pursuit of art, love and achievement. Lisa has performed classical repertoire in competitions and festivals in Canada and the U.S. She holds an associate diploma (ARCT) in piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, and an MBA from the University of Calgary.
