Eric Casiano

I have a degree in Sociology & English Literature, along with a minor in Philosophy. I've been a student for most of my life and I'm always searching for a higher education.

I play video games to destress and to help inspire my creative work, from Pokemon to Genshin Impact to the more intense narratives of Skyrim and God of War. I'm also an avid movie goer and love learning from the cinemotography to the dialogue, critiquing and analyzing so I have a greater understanding and appreciation for storytelling.

When I'm not playing video games or watching films, I'm writing stories. Novels are my passion, since I see movies in my mind and have to write them into life, but I also dabble in short stories and poetry. Screenwriting is the next project. Who doesn't want to see their stories turn into movies?

The beauty and significance of language, visual art, and philosophy are my take aways on everything I see, hear, and read. I write through my experience because my life is perceived through the lens of a philosopher. My work is meant to express myself through my questions of the world, and then it becomes an invitation for others to wonder as well.
