Joanne Russo Insull

Joanne Russo Insull is a former teacher and trainer who has worked with children and adults with disabilities. She has a strong commitment to animals and has 2 rescue dogs, Dugan and Pinot and feeds a group of crows each morning who come to be fed when she calls them. She has traveled to many places, and loves Italy very much. On her last trip to Italy, she met an Italian donkey who was the inspiration for Asinella. She is a member of SCBWI, active with the Rochester Children's Book Festival, and is a volunteer grant writer for a local school
