Born and raised in West Bengal, India, Surajit’s journey in education began in 1994. Two years later, in 1996, he founded the Golden Childhood Institution in Maynaguri, West Bengal, an esteemed school dedicated to fostering the holistic development of children. His institution has since become a beacon of innovative educational practices and emotional support for young minds.

Surajit's academic background in science, coupled with his deep interest in positive psychology, medical hypnosis, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), has uniquely positioned him to address the complex emotional and psychological needs of children. He holds a Fellowship in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, and is a member of several esteemed career counseling organizations in India and abroad, including the National Career Counselling Institute, the Counsellors Council of India. He had been a member of the British Society of Experimental and Clinical Hypnosis, and the International Hypnosis Federation.

In addition to his extensive work with children, Surajit has authored three acclaimed books: “Nurturing Bonds: A Handbook for Emotional Development in Early Childhood” and “Parenting with Heart: Emotional Bonds for Early Childhood Development.” His latest work, "Emotional Edge in Parenting: Your Complete Guide to Childhood Education," combines the wisdom and insights from his previous books with new, comprehensive strategies for nurturing emotionally intelligent children. His fascination with human psychology led him to explore the intricate world of psychological thrillers within the realm of science fiction. He has authored two notable works in this genre, "Deep Into the Mind" and "Mysteries of the Mind," both of which stand as a testament to his creative vision.
