Fiona Scott-Barrett

Fiona Scott-Barrett is a Scottish author who now lives in Edinburgh. Fiona spent much of her adult life abroad, teaching English as a Foreign Language and writing textbooks. Her latest novel, The Foreign Wives’ Club, draws inspiration from the twenty years she spent living on the Greek island of Crete

Fiona is partially-sighted and her first novel deals with themes of visual impairment and assisted dying within the framework of an adventure story. That novel, The Exit Facility, was the runner-up in the UK Society ofAuthors’ ADCI Literary Prise in 2023.
