SW Fellows

SW enjoys writing about romance, comedy, murder and mystery-which can be a tricky combination! SW was born and bred in North Wales and still enjoys its stunning scenery, culture and weather. Her interests have always been torn between art and writing, and she has painted some very questionable water colours in the past.

Her Masters degree focussed on women crime writers of the 1920s and 1930s. What a treat, studying all that 'cosy'crime!

Inspired by a name that cropped up in a spot of genealogy, she started to write about life in the fictional town of Whytfield in Shropshire. The Whytfield series take you on a journey through Whytfield in the 1960s and 1970s.

You can follow the Gardener's Story, in The Whytfield Inheritance.

In The Whytfield Investigation, which is the policeman's Storư, you can observe some of the challenges Inspector Stagg faces.

In The Whytfield Invitation, we see the effects of the Christmas opening of an unusual restaurant. (To be published soon)

If you enjoy the 1960s and 1970s as much as SW does, then The Whytfield stories are for you!
