Sarah Yong

Through her years working as a Speech Therapist and AAC Practitioner, Sarah has had the privilege and pleasure of working and getting to know many individuals with Complex Communication Needs and their families. They teach her daily about the true meaning of having a voice and being heard. She has been inspired by their persistence, resilience and innovativeness. She hopes that 'A Voice of Her Own' will create awareness of the Mei's in Singapore that long to be heard and that they will be enabled to write their own stories.
