John Whitney Steele, a psychologist, Iyengar yoga teacher, zen practitioner, and assistant editor of Think: A Journal of Poetry, Fiction and Essays, is a graduate of the MFA Poetry Writing Program at Western Colorado University, where he studied with Julie Kane, David Rothman, and Ernest Hilbert.
A Pushcart Prize nominee, and winner of many awards, John’s poems have been published widely in print and online journals. Born in Toronto and raised among the pines and granite cliffs of Foot’s Bay, Ontario, John now lives in Boulder, Colorado where he encounters his muse wandering in the mountains.
