Jason Finch is Associate Professor, English Language and Literature, at Åbo Akademi University. A spatial literary scholar, he researches modern urban literatures, including representations of housing and transport mobilities. From 2019–22 he is one of four PIs on the HERA-funded four-country project Public Transport as Public Space in European Cities: Narrating, Experiencing, Contesting (PUTSPACE; see www.putspace.eu). Publications include Literary Urban Studies and How to Practice It (2022), Deep Locational Criticism (2016) and several co-edited collections, most recently Literatures of Urban Possibility (2021), as well as journal articles in Literary Geographies, the Journal of Urban Cultural Studies and elsewhere.
