Henry is a native of Virginia who grew up between the majesty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the secret societies of Washington, D. C. Over time his profession drew him into the wars of Afghanistan, Iraq, and the complexities of geopolitics. But one day, he left the war.
From there he traveled the old world on foot, staying in different countries, while learning their beliefs, cultures, and customs until reaching Georgia. While working as a lecturer and writer, a publisher introduced him to Shota Rustaveli's epic poem, The Knight in the Panther Skin.
The story captured his imagination, and he began working to translate the poem's esoteric, philosophical, and spiritual elements into English. However, it took seven years to accurately rewrite the epic.
And now, the complete series can be read in English for the first time in history. These books are Avtandil's Quest, The Road to Gulansharo, and A Rule of Three, and they are available in eBook and print, either online or from select bookstores.
He's currently publishing other works on Kindle Vella, and continues to write stories and opinion pieces internationally. If you'd like to learn more about H. J.
